Who We Are

We are Alena and Toon, two licensed Holy Land guides who chose to make Israel our home. With different backgrounds and complementary perspectives, we bring depth, balance and a personal touch to every journey. This shared vision inspired us to create Holyland Horizons.

We don't simply guide tours — we design meaningful journeys that inspire understanding, connection, and lasting memories.

Our Story

Holyland Horizons was created from a simple belief: no two travelers are the same, so no two journeys should be the same either.

As licensed guides living in Israel, we spend our lives exploring this land — not only its famous sites, but also its hidden places, local flavours, unique accommodations, and unforgettable experiences.

Over the years, we realized that many itineraries followed the same routes and offered the same experiences. We wanted to create something more personal. A company where every journey begins with a conversation. Where we take time to understand what matters to our guests and thoughtfully design experiences around their interests, pace, and purpose.

We are not simply planning holidays. We are creating experiences we would proudly recommend to our own family and friends.

Our Philosophy

Every traveler arrives with a different story, different interests, different expectations and different dreams. That's why we don't believe in copy-and-paste itineraries. Instead, we begin by listening.

Whether your journey is inspired by faith, history, culture, nature, photography or curiosity, we take the time to understand what matters most to you. Only then do we begin designing your journey, because the most memorable experiences are never the most standard ones — they are the most personal.

What Sets Us Apart

Whenever possible, we experience everything ourselves before recommending it. We walk the trails. We stay in the hotels. We taste the food. We visit the wineries. We meet local hosts. We explore new places throughout the year. Our itineraries are shaped by real experiences, trusted relationships and years of guiding throughout the Holy Land.

We don't recommend places because they're popular. We recommend them because we've been there, experienced them ourselves, and genuinely believe they're worth sharing. Because we believe authentic journeys can only be designed by people who truly know the land they share.

As a Destination Management Company (DMC), we combine our on-the-ground expertise, local relationships and attention to detail to craft journeys that are seamless, meaningful and tailored for you.
